Department of Industrial Engineering at Hacettepe University is founded on May 21, 2004 and accepted its first undergraduate students in Fall 2007.

Our Mission

• Provide top-notch Industrial Engineering education both at undergraduate and graduate levels. 

• Strike an excellent balance between the theoretical and the practical aspects in Industrial Engineering education. 

• Research and develop industrial engineering methods, tools, and technologies. 

• Develop solutions to operational problems of manufacturing, production, and service industries.
